Magar is a not for profit news aggregator started by a group of friends in South Asia. Twice a month the Magar team takes a deep dive into a relevant subject, with a focus on South Asia, looking through news, music, art, history and podcasts to build a selection that one can critically engage with, learn from and use as a research tool. The themes engaged with at Magar aim to understand and address current issues and deepen our relationship with the always changing news cycle. Through these bi-monthly newsletters, Magar hopes to share and celebrate the work of writers, journalists, and artists.
